The single-seated "Corsair" was the last propeller-driven navy fighter plane from US production. Thanks to its unique appearance with the converted kink wings, it was suitable as a carrier aircraft, but was flown by pilots of the US Marine Corps from the starting trains in the Pacific and enjoyed a special post -war career in Korea.
