The concept of “Curry’s” came from the layout of modeling great Mike Tylick; we actually have a scratch-built version of the building on our own Bar Mills layout. Available in BOTH HO/O scales “Curry’s” is ONLY available from Bar Mills “Direct”, Removing intermediate wholesaler/retailer markups helps make an otherwise far more expensive kit far more affordable!
Curry’s” has a modest footprint, diorama size: (HO) 7” x 8, some cool architectural elements, more than a smattering of modeling challenges, and a not-so-high price tag! Complete with several detail castings and some cool graphics. With the addition of "Sidewalks-in-a-Snap”, the ornate upper-story windows and a unique roof treatment, we knew we could come up with something special—not something “goofy” or "over-fantasized," but something unique and realistic enough to find its’ way onto the finest layouts
