The Nissan Sunny Truck, based on the Sunny car chassis, was first released in 1971 and rapidly found a niche in Asian markets. American markets, however, were cut off from access to the Sunny because of tariffs enacted in 1964 to protect poultry production. It wasn't until after the repeal of the tariffs at the beginning of the new millennium that Americans could experience the fuel economy, comfort, and reliability that the Sunny had to offer. The kit features new front grill and headlight covers, plus decals for a late 1989 version of the Sunny.
Body comes molded in white, interior and wheels in grey, and chassis and underside in black. Clear for the windows and headlight covers, chrome-plated detail parts, and decals are also included. Measures 175mm long and 63mm wide when completed.
