For the diorama, we did something a bit unusual. We headed down to our own “Niagara & Pearl Creek” n-scale layout (there is a link for it on the website) and shot a photo of one of the city scenes on our digital camera. After printing it out, we mounted the photos on some foamcore and affixed them to the back of this little diorama. Pretty cute, if we do say so ourselves!
The kit has some unusual features. Aside from a great roof sign (even an air conditioner), it features “screen” doors (you can’t see them in these photos) as well as some colorful artwork to help make this building an eye-catcher.
On a side note, this kit got it’s name from a place that actually existed right here in Maine. Trust us when we say it was the “locals” that renamed the place and not Betty!
