HMS_Dreadnought in May 1905, approved for construction. December 3, 1907, service, and served as the flagship of the British Royal Navy's Home Fleet until 1912. On March 18, 1916, in the First World War, and without fear in the North Sea, the German U-29 submarine docking maintenance missed Jutland. 1916–1918 year, deployed to patrol the Thames estuary. Transferred to the Reserve in 1919. 1921 sale was demolished. HMS_Dreadnought represents an important watershed in battleship technology, commonly known of its kind as "dreadnoughts," before the battleship was called "pre-dreadnoughts.”.
