JACAM Unimog Special Forces of Belgian Army is equipped with a circular ring mounted at the rear of the cabin crew, which can be armed with a 12.7 mm machine gun. At the front, the the seat commander is equipped with swing arm for 7.62 or 5.56 mm machine gun with buffered weapon mount plus two more on each corner at the rear of the vehicle. The roof of the standard Unimog cab is removed, and replaced by with a robust tubular roll over protection system integrated into the vehicle chassis. The front of the cab is equipped with two folding windshields, with bullet-proof windows.
