HMS Queen Elizabeth started on October 21, 1912, was launched on October 16, 1913.1915 and completed in the Portsmouth dockyard on January 16. Cost about 2400000 pounds. In 1926–1927, years refitted for modernization. In 1937–1940, in October of the second large-scale modernization. On December 19, 1941, in Egypt, Port Alexander was sunk, salvaged after repair in 1943, to join the British Far East fleet in the war against Japan. Finally, in 1946, retired in August 1948 after the after the sale of disintegration.
