Tamiya welcomes a new product to our Educational Construction Series—this time, a 3mm Hex Shaft Set. Our construction and assembly products in this series use 3mm hex shafts, and now hex shafts shorter than 100mm are available separately for the first time. Get this set to change the shaft length of Educational Construction kits and gearboxes, or use it as spare parts.

  • 3x38mm, 3x50mm, 3x60mm and 3x72mm hex shafts (four for each)
  • Attachment of the shortest hex shafts to gearboxes makes it possible to miniaturize areas around tires and make units.
  • Can be used with parts—universal joints and shaft drive units—that use various length hex shafts.
  • If you need shafts which are longer than 100mm length, use Item 70105 (3mm Diameter Shaft Set) which includes 100mm and 150mm hex shafts.
