• ATSF “Super Shock Contol” underframe with Keystone 20” travel Center-of-Car cushion device
• Youngstown (YSD) steel car sides and plug door with 10’-6” opening
• Stanray (SRE) Improved Dreadnaught ends and welded X-panel roof
• Originally equipped with Equipco “ACB” (air cushion) movable bulkheads
• Final (last) insulated cars built by ATSF
• In-service 40+ years
The model is designed based on Bx-177 construction drawings from ATSF, YSD and SRE
