MAN is one of the most famous and well-known manufacturers of heavy industrial and commercial vehicles in Europe. Throughout its long industrial history it has introduced many technological innovations which have become benchmarks within the heavy transport vehicle sector. The MAN 26.321 was fitted with the 6-cylinder “Formula 6” diesel engine which, at the time, was a forerunner of the adoption of advanced technology capable of optimizing power and minimizing consumption. Even the cab design was studied and developed in order to satisfy the requirements of modern truck drivers who were becoming more aware and attentive to on-board comfort and vehicle ease of use. Equally, design changes also incorporated aesthetic features such as large horns, aerodynamic appendages and the characteristic spoiler on the roof of the cab. In this version the frame was strengthened to allow the adoption and fitting of four rear wheels.
