By the early 1970s, customized “chopper” motorcycles were hugely popular across the United States, but the true home of these one-of-a-kind rolling sculptures was Los Angeles, California. In those days, Revell was headquartered in L.A.’s Venice neighborhood, and this now-classic L.A. The Street Chopper kit was inspired by the wild profiles and defining features of the custom bikes that cruised the city’s streets. Available for the first time in decades, this big 1/8-scale kit from Revell’s archives is more than 15 inches long once built.
