JACAM Unimog Special Forces of Belgian Army is equipped with a circular ring mounted at the rear of the cabin crew, which can be armed with a 12.7 mm machine gun. The roof of the standard Unimog cab is removed, and replaced by with a robust tubular roll over protection system integrated into the vehicle chassis. The front of the cab is equipped with two folding windshields, with bullet-proof windows.
