Read Before You Buy

Please order elsewhere if you have issue with the following:

1. We are an extremely small business with only my wife, my two daughters and I who work on MPM Hobbies.  We have other jobs, go to school or do other work on the side.   We take MPM Hobbies and our customers seriously, but we do have our limitations on manpower, money and inventory space.  Simply put, we do not operate as most of the companies you are used to i.e. quick order fulfillment, dedicated customer service, huge stock, etc.  

2. We make mistakes, errors and general oops.  Not all the time but we do make them.  When we are wrong, we make it right.  There are very few who are still not happy but honestly, I do not think anything would make them happy.     

3. Products may not be in stock with the distributor even though you are allowed to order.  Most of our products we purchase straight from the distributor once you place the order.  Product availability is based mostly upon whether the distributor carries the product and not the actual availability at time of purchase even though we try to update our system the best we can.  If the product is found to be no longer in stock with the distributor, we will email you with the option of cancelling or placing the item(s) on backorder.  We will not charge your card unless the item(s) are available at the time of search, or you elect to place the item(s) on backorder.  

4. We have fees, and they are covered in or even restated in our Purchase Options and Cancellations, Refunds, Returns or Exchanges, and our Terms of Service policies.  Policy links are located at the bottom of each page to include the checkout page.  We have fees to hopefully stop or limit customer practices that are harmful to our business in terms of time and money.  Please read these policies before you decide to purchase from us. 

5. It is more than likely that it will take us 14 to 30 business days to fulfill your order (read #1, #2 and #3).  Sometimes the distributors make mistakes, or a product(s) is damaged in transit.  This doesn't happen often but does happen and pushes this time period to the right some.  Should this happen, we will contact you and discuss the impact.         

In conclusion, we just aren’t set up to cater to everyone and trying to cause more problems than it's worth.  We are what we are and that’s just a simple little business run by a family out in the country.  We would love to have your business so if you like great prices, direct connection to the owners and are willing to be patient, then MPM Hobbies is here for you.
