The two photo-etched sheets (measuring 246.5x43.5mm and 216x103.5mm) include parts for the handrails, personnel rescue nets, flight deck underside girders, flight deck supports, aircraft propellers, and main landing gear.

Additionally, since the photo-etched parts replace the underside of the flight deck, a new plastic part for the flight deck is included, which has no engraved detail on its underside.

This is a detail-up set compatible with the simultaneously released "Akagi Full Hull Version (CH117)" and the Waterline Series "Aircraft Carrier Akagi (item no. 227)."
