In 1985, Bill Porterfield, an engineer for future systems and technology at Oldsmobile®, wanted to Present product performance from Oldsmobile. His goal was to "outdo the Corvette®." His main focus was on the suspension capabilities and aerodynamics of the FE3-X. The FE3-X has been exhibited at all major car shows in the country and has been featured in articles in the most important automotive publications.
