This is an updated version of Tamiya’s HG (high-grade) pointed brush. The following updates have been incorporated: PBT resin bristles (instead of horsehair bristles) and new solvent-resistant plastic grips. This updated brush is incredibly useful for both beginners and veterans alike.

  • • Feature high-quality, exceptionally fine PBT resin bristles—slightly stiff and durable—for precision painting.
  • • Handy grips are crafted in solvent-resistant plastic and have laser-engraved letters “TAMIYA MODELING BRUSH HG II”.
  • • Their grip ends have a small tab to prevent rolling and damaging bristles, and they can be cut off using side cutters if not needed.
