Guided weapons define the era and mission of an aircraft more clearly than almost any other detail, and 1/32 scale gives them the presence to carry a model. Air-to-Air Weapons

Air-to-air missiles fall broadly into short-range infrared homing types and longer-range radar-guided types, each with a distinctive silhouette. Infrared weapons tend to be slim with prominent forward control surfaces, while radar-guided rounds are larger with different fin arrangements. Matching the right generation of weapon to your airframe and its service period keeps a build credible.

Strike weapons range from early command-guided rounds through television and imaging seekers to modern powered standoff missiles. Their larger bodies and varied guidance sections make them strong visual anchors under a wing. Finishing Resin Guided Weapons

Wash parts in warm soapy water, clean any support witness marks, and prime before colour. Missiles often carry high-contrast bands and stencilling, so crisp masking and a gloss coat before decals pay off. Mask seeker windows so they can be finished clear, and fit the rounds to their rails or pylons after the airframe paint has cured.
