Hello, my name is Mike Meeks and Pat (wife) and I are the owners of MPM Hobbies.  We officially opened in 2022.  Unofficially we were known as Hobby Desk Detail Resins in 2021 when we started selling 3D prints we were making of model aircraft ordinance.

We are a small family owned and operated business consisting of my wife, my two daughters and myself.  Orders are fulfilled either through items in stock on our property (In Stock side of our site) or items we order for you from our distributors (Catalog side of our site).  Operating on our property and having a small staff is why we can offer items at low prices.

So why did we open this business?  Well first off it wasn’t to get rich and that I can assure you.  Mostly I did it because I have always wanted hobby shop and it gives our daughters a chance to work a flexible job for spending and activity money.   

Since we opened it has really been trial and error (mostly error) but the experience overall has been a good one.  All we can hope now is that those of you with a good experience keep coming back, those of you with a so so experience give us another try and those of you with a bad experience are happy with their greener pasture.

Without writing a whole paragraph let's just say we are a disabled veteran, Hispanic, woman and Native American owned small business...se habla espanol and Proud to be American!!  You could also add English, German and Norwegian buts that a whole other paragraph.
