About the Focke-Wulf Triebflügel
The Triebflügel (Powered Wing) was an ambitious German VTOL interceptor design from 1944. This radical aircraft featured three wings mounted on a rotating collar around the fuselage, with ramjet engines at each wingtip. Designed to take off and land vertically like a helicopter, it would transition to conventional flight once airborne. Though never built, the Triebflügel represents one of the most innovative and futuristic aircraft concepts of the war.
