Designed and 3D printed in-house by MPM Hobbies, this set of two 1/32 scale AN-M65A1 1000-lb general purpose bombs delivers accurate WWII and Korean War-era ordnance detail for heavy bomber aircraft models.

Historical Notes

The AN-M65A1 is a refined variant of the earlier AN-M65, featuring antiwithdrawal pins in the base plug and a lockable adapter-booster and fuze adapter. Approximately 50% of the bomb's complete weight is explosive filler. Double suspension lugs are welded 14 inches apart, with a single lug on the opposite side.

The earlier AN-M65 carries a slightly higher explosive charge ratio (53%) compared to the AN-M65A1 (50%). The AN-M44, an earlier 1000-lb GP model, uses an Adapter-Booster M102 accepting only 1-1/2 inch diameter thread fuzes.
