Designed for modelers detailing 1/48 scale jet aircraft, this LAU-10/A rocket launcher set adds a historically grounded four-tube ordnance option to compatible aircraft builds. MPM Hobbies designed and 3D printed the resin set in-house for clean, scale-appropriate detail.

  • Material: 3D printed resin designed and produced in-house by MPM Hobbies.
  • Scale: 1/48.
  • Compatibility: Suitable for 1/48 scale jet aircraft models, including A-4 Skyhawk variants, F-4 Phantom II, F-8 Crusader, A-7 Corsair II, A-6 Intruder, and F-5 Tiger II subjects.
  • Contents: Two LAU-10/A rocket launcher units.
  • Detail: Four-tube launcher form with mounting hardware and suspension lugs, based on reference photos and technical documentation.
  • Important: Fine resin details can be brittle, so handle the parts carefully during cleanup and installation.

The LAU-10/A was used on a range of tactical aircraft. This set is intended for modelers working on compatible 1/48 scale A-4 Skyhawk, F-4 Phantom II, F-8 Crusader, A-7 Corsair II, A-6 Intruder, and F-5 Tiger II builds.

Printing and handling

Finish and supports

The print is shipped unpainted with 3D supports attached. Color images are for display purposes only.

Remove supports carefully with a sharp hobby knife, working from the tips toward the main body and protecting small details. Test-fit the launcher to the aircraft pylon before final assembly. The resin can be primed with acrylic, lacquer, or enamel paint, and CA is recommended for attachment or minor gap filling.
