About the F-35A Lightning II

The Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II is a single-seat, single-engine, all-weather stealth multirole fighter designed for ground attack and air superiority missions. As the conventional takeoff and landing variant, the F-35A serves as the primary fighter for the U.S. Air Force and numerous allied air forces.
