The Hobby Boss 1/48 A-7A Corsair II is an unassembled static aircraft model kit for builders interested in the early production Corsair II and its Vietnam-era service. It recreates the carrier-based light attack aircraft in a detailed plastic kit that requires assembly.

Subject: LTV A-7A Corsair II, early production version.
Material: Light-gray plastic with clear canopy parts.
Contents: 13 sprues, 272 light-gray plastic parts, and 6 clear canopy parts, 278 parts total.
Finished size: 294 mm long with a 246.4 mm wingspan.
Markings: VA-147 Argonauts in Vietnam, December 1967, and A-7A BuNo. 153214/NJ-201 of VA(F)-122, "Flying Eagles."
Build note: The kit is unassembled and requires assembly.

Aircraft background

The A-7A was the first production version of the Corsair II. It served with the United States Navy and was later used by the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, with exports to Greece, Portugal, and Thailand.
