Painting guidance

Thinning and brushwork

For airbrushing, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can produce faster drying and a harder finish. Tamiya Paint Retarder, item 87114, can help create smoother brushstrokes. Tamiya X-21 Flat Base, items 81521 and 81021, can flatten Tamiya gloss colors when mixed according to the manufacturer's guidance.
