Vallejo Model Air 71.064 Chrome (FS17178) is a water-based metallic acrylic paint for modelers who need a smooth, durable finish on scale aircraft, armor, vehicle, and other hobby subjects. It is formulated for airbrushing and can also be applied with a brush.

Application and care

Airbrushing

Prime the surface first, then apply several thin layers. A compressor setting of 15–20 pounds per square inch (PSI), or 0.5–1 kilogram per square centimeter, is recommended. The paint dries quickly and forms an even film that helps preserve fine model detail.
