Using the paint

Brush and airbrush application

The paint covers well, flows smoothly, and can be blended for detailed scale modeling. Before the paint cures, it can be cleaned with plain water.

For airbrushing, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. Lacquer Thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish. Tamiya Paint Retarder 87114 can help produce smoother brushwork with fewer visible brushstrokes.

Compatible thinner options include Tamiya 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, and 87077.
