Tamiya Extra Thin Cement Quick Setting 40ml, Item 87182, is a fast-setting adhesive for precise plastic model assembly. It dries approximately four times faster than the standard Extra Thin Cement for quick, controlled bonds.

Key Features
  • Quick-setting formula, bonds in under 10 seconds
  • Highly liquid consistency flows into tight joints and small gaps
  • Less tendency to seep from part joints compared to standard cement
  • 40ml bottle with built-in brush applicator under the cap for easy, controlled application
  • Compatible with pre-fitted parts assembled by hand
  • Vendor: Tamiya | Item No. 87182

Modeling Tips

Use this cement when you need to move quickly through assembly steps and are confident in your part fit. Because it sets in under 10 seconds, dry-fitting parts before applying is strongly recommended.

For filling larger gaps and seams, Tamiya Extra Thin Cement (Item 87038) remains the preferred choice.

Important Note

Not suitable for use with elastomer parts (such as tank track components), because contact with elastomer can cause brittleness.

Compatible With

Suitable for use across Tamiya's full range of plastic model kits including armor, aircraft, ships, and automotive subjects. Browse our Tamiya Adhesives collection for the full lineup.
