This kit is a 1/72 scale replica of the YF-19 in its Battroid form from the OVA Macross Plus, as piloted by Isamu Dyson.
The kit is a snap-fit model, so no glue is required for assembly. The joints are movable thanks to the use of poly-caps. The parts are planned to be molded in seven colors: ivory, red, gray (two shades), clear green, clear red, and clear (for the stand). The combination of these pre-colored parts and the included decals will result in a finish very close to the original design art.
The kit comes with a gun pod, which can be attached to the back of the shield. For the hands, you get a right hand for the gun pod, a right hand for the Pinpoint Barrier Punch, and left/right grasping and open hands.
A clear green, molded effect part for the Pinpoint Barrier Punch is also included. For the heels, you have a choice between two shapes: one that prioritizes the Battroid form's design and one that is closer to the Fighter form's vector nozzle. The fast packs for the shoulders and legs are optional.
A clear display stand with a gray-molded pillar is also included.
