Anyone who has ever watched "Boardwalk Empire" should be at least vaguely familiar with "Chalky White." one of the pivotal characters in the show. Not only a great acting part, but a pretty terrific "name" as well. We "borrowed" it for this kit. This one has a smaller footprint than the others. about 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"... but because of it's vertical style, this structure becomes highly noticeable among others of similar size. We went back to our "square wave" shingles this time around... Take a good look... They're really cool, and... Although it takes a while to manufacture them, we feel they are definitely worth the trouble.
Two different-sized lettering stencils come with this one. As for the bottom floor? Knowing "Chalky," it would be best used for bootleg gin... but in this case, in a slight "tip-of-the-hat" to George S. We've named it "Franklin Barrel Works" (we're not saying that those barrels can't be full of bootleg gin!).
