Ballast the easy way with this handy tool.  It can be towed or pushed by your locomotive for steady and even application. Adjustable height settings allow you to choose ballast depth and thickness and adapt to any code rail (Code 100, 83, 75, etc.). The shutoff valve lets you stop ballast flow when you want to move the spreader to different areas or when it reaches the end of the track.
