Bachmann's track-cleaning car provides an efficient and economical way to clean your track, featuring an exclusive dry cleaning system with a reusable pad attached to the underside of the chassis. This 40' Boxcar replicates an Impact Demo or Damage Control Car. These cars were used in locomotive crew training to demonstrate the proper handling of cargo. The cars featured see-through sides to allow trainees to view the effect on the load being carried when coupled to another railcar at faster than 4 mph (this would typically involve the load falling over or being damaged). To simulate the prototype, this model features a clear body shell with a painted screen and a printed cargo load inside.
