Wash Application Tips for Best Results

Apply washes over gloss or satin varnished surfaces for best flow and easy cleanup. Shake bottles well and apply directly to panel lines, recesses, and details using a fine brush. Allow the wash to flow naturally via capillary action into crevices and around raised details. Let dry for 20-30 minutes, then remove excess with a flat brush dampened with white spirit or enamel thinner, working perpendicular to panel lines. For subtle effects, remove more wash; for heavy weathering, leave more product on the surface. Multiple applications build up realistic dirt accumulation. Always work in well-ventilated areas and allow washes to cure fully (24 hours) before applying additional weathering products or final varnish.
