Background

The Westinghouse AN/ALQ-119 jammer pod was carried on the F-16 and A-10 and previously on the F-4 Phantom II. During the Vietnam War, the pod was typically mounted on the F-4's inboard station or left-forward AIM-7 missile station. It covered three frequency bands.
