The M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) is a wheeled launcher variant developed by the U.S. military based on the M270 MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System). It is equipped with a six-pack rocket launcher. Its standard rockets have a range of up to 45 km, and the ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile System) can reach a range of 300 km. The lightweight design brings its combat weight to only 10.9 tons, and it can reach a top speed of 86 km/h. Additionally, it can be airlifted by a C-130 transport plane and deployed rapidly upon reaching the combat zone, combining mobility with firepower.
