By the early 1970s, customized “chopper” motorcycles were hugely popular across the United States, but the true home of these one-of-a-kind rolling sculptures was Los Angeles, California. In those days, Revell was headquartered in L.A.’s Venice neighborhood, and this now-classic L.A. The Street Chopper kit was inspired by the wild profiles and defining features of the custom bikes that cruised the city’s streets.
