This 23 mL Tamiya X-19 Acrylic Smoke is a glossy, water-soluble acrylic paint for modelers who need a translucent smoke finish by brush or airbrush. It works on styrene, resin, Styrofoam, wood, and common model plastics.

Use and thinning

For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or one of the verified Tamiya thinners 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, or 87077. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish. Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) can help produce smoother brush application. Before curing, the paint can be washed away with plain water.
