Tamiya XF-15 Flat Flesh is a 23 mL water-soluble acrylic paint for modelers who need a smooth flesh tone for brush painting or airbrushing. It works on styrene, resin, wood, Styrofoam, and other common model plastics.

  • Color and finish: XF-15 Flat Flesh with a flat finish.
  • Scale: Suitable for model kits in common scales; the paint is not scale-specific.
  • Compatibility: Tamiya and other styrene, resin, wood, Styrofoam, and common plastic model kits.

Application Notes

Brush Painting

For smoother brushwork, use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114). The paint flows smoothly and can be blended easily.

Airbrushing

Thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can also be used for faster drying and a harder finish. Suitable Tamiya thinner references include 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, and 87077. Before curing, the paint can be washed away with plain water.
