Tamiya PS-13 Gold is a 100 ml acrylic spray paint for coloring transparent polycarbonate R/C car bodies. It is intended for modelers who paint the inside of a body shell for a smooth exterior finish.

Product details

  • Material: Acrylic spray paint formulated for polycarbonate.
  • Scale: Not applicable; formulated for R/C car bodies.
  • Compatibility: Transparent polycarbonate R/C car bodies, including Tamiya R/C car kits. Do not use on standard plastic model bodies.
  • Contents: One 100 ml spray can, item 86013.
  • Application: Spray from inside the body shell, about 30 cm from the surface. Apply another coat after the paint cures when needed.
  • Important detail: Once cured, the paint is resistant to oil and fuel for use on gas-powered R/C bodies.

Use and compatibility

Application

Paint the inside of the polycarbonate body rather than the outside. This leaves the color protected on the finished model. Follow the product directions and test the paint on a suitable area before completing the body.

Important limitation

This paint is made for transparent polycarbonate R/C bodies and should not be used on standard plastic model kits.
