Vallejo Model Air 71.028 Sand Yellow is a water-based acrylic paint formulated for airbrushing scale models. It can also be applied by brush when a smooth, durable color coat is needed.

Application and compatibility

Airbrushing

Apply the paint directly from the bottle or thin it with Vallejo airbrush thinner and flow improver. A compressor setting of 15–20 PSI, or approximately 0.5–1 bar, is recommended. Apply several thin layers over a primed surface to preserve fine model detail.

Scale modeling subjects

Sand Yellow is suited to scale aircraft, military vehicles, armor, and other subjects that require a warm yellow-tan finish. For cleaning and routine airbrush care, use Vallejo product information.
