La Galissonnière class light cruiser is the French navy's decision to use "Emile Bertam" as the basis, combined with heavy cruiser "Algeria" protection design, at the expense of sacrificing the speed of the defense capabilities built by the World War II France Lightweight cruisers. La Galissonnière's excellent hull shape made its actual speed exceed the original design speed of 31 knots, reaching 32 knots, of which the Marseillaise Tracks had tested and reached 35 knots. After the outbreak of World War II, the level were assigned to join the third cruiser and the fourth cruiser team, which also gave the ship of this class a different future destiny.
