Application and Thinning

Brush Painting

Apply in controlled coats to build the tint or shading effect you want. Tamiya Paint Retarder can help produce smoother brushwork and reduce visible brush marks. Before the paint cures, it can be removed with plain water.

Airbrushing

Thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner for standard acrylic airbrushing. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can also be used for faster drying and a harder finish.
