Thinning and application

For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. Lacquer thinner produces faster drying and a harder finish. Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) can help produce smoother brushwork.

When needed, use Tamiya thinners 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, or 87077. Before curing, the paint can be washed away with plain water.
