The Model Shipways USCG Fast Response Cutter kit builds a detailed 1/48 scale model of the 154-foot Sentinel-Class cutter. It is intended for experienced maritime modelers and can be built for static display or adapted for optional radio control.

Kit details

  • Scale: 1/48, with a 1/4-inch scale foot
  • Construction: laser-cut and die-cut plywood frames with expanded PVC hull sheeting
  • Compatibility: designed for static display or optional twin-screw running hardware kit #2382, dual motors, and standard R/C electronics
  • Fittings: 108-piece cast metal set with deck hardware, defense weapon systems, and structural fittings
  • Contents: authentic color decals, assembly manual, and architectural blueprint drawings

Build notes

This is an unassembled model kit and requires assembly. Assembly tools, glue, paint, and R/C running hardware, including motors, ESC, battery, and radio system, are sold separately.
