This kit recreates the Celica LB 1600GT with its fastback silhouette!
The Celica LB (Liftback) debuted in April 1973 as a new addition to the Celica lineup, featuring a fastback silhouette and a 3-door 2+2 coupe body style. As its name suggests, the car had a large liftgate, and with the rear seats folded down, the cargo space could accommodate large leisure items like surfboards and camping gear.
Based on research of the actual car, the kit includes many newly developed parts for the body and interior. The chassis uses parts from the conventional Toyota Celica 1600GT kit. The body parts are molded in white, while the front grille, bumpers, wipers, pillar ducts, and mirror surfaces are chrome-plated. The kit also includes Watanabe 8-spoke wheels.
