Not designed for any particular kit. Engine width, from side to side, is diameter of engine measured from the front of engine from piston end to opposite side piston end (37.62 mm). Engine length, from back to front, is measured from the back of the 2 mm backplate to the beginning of propeller shaft (28.22 mm). Just because the real aircraft used the R-1830 DOES NOT mean that this item will fit the plastic model due to the different measurements manufacturers use to scale down. Buyers of this product may have to modify either the model kit, this product or both to get the right fit necessary. 0.30 mm 3D printer supports (i.e. the smallest ones) can be removed from delicate parts using a sharp #11 blade cut at the point the support meets the engine part. Removal of the printer supports requires knowledge of model building and the use of R-1830 reference photos so if you follow the "simply remove anything that ain't engine" rule your day will probably end in disappointment.
