About the M10 in Soviet Service

Under the Lend-Lease program, the United States supplied thousands of military vehicles to the Soviet Union during World War II. The M10 tank destroyer, officially designated 3-inch Gun Motor Carriage M10, was among these vehicles. Soviet forces appreciated the M10's powerful 3-inch gun and mobility, though they often modified the vehicles to suit their tactical doctrine. These American-built tank destroyers saw action on the Eastern Front from 1943 through the end of the war.
