About the JagdPanzer 38(t) Hetzer:

The JagdPanzer 38(t) Hetzer was a German light tank destroyer based on the chassis of the Czechoslovakian Panzer 38(t). Introduced in 1944, the Hetzer featured a low-profile design with well-sloped armor that provided excellent protection for its weight class. Armed with the powerful 75mm PaK 39 L/48 gun, it could effectively engage Allied tanks while its compact size made it easy to conceal and maneuver. The Late Version featured production modifications and improvements based on combat experience. Despite its cramped interior and limited crew space, the Hetzer proved to be one of the most cost-effective German tank destroyers of the war, with over 2,800 produced. Its combination of firepower, protection, and low cost made it highly valued by German forces during the final defensive battles of World War II.
