About French Navy Dunkerque

The Dunkerque was a unique French battleship commissioned in 1937, designed as a fast capital ship to counter the German Deutschland-class pocket battleships. She featured an innovative all-forward main battery arrangement with two quadruple 330mm gun turrets. During World War II, she participated in operations in the Atlantic and Mediterranean before being damaged at Mers-el-Kébir in 1940 and later scuttled at Toulon in 1942. This wood deck allows you to build an accurate representation of this distinctive French warship.
