About SMS Dresden & SMS Emden

The SMS Dresden and SMS Emden were German light cruisers that served during World War I. The Dresden was part of the East Asia Squadron and survived the Battle of the Falkland Islands before being scuttled in 1915. The Emden became famous for her commerce raiding in the Indian Ocean before being destroyed by HMAS Sydney in 1914.
