About the AH-1Z Viper

The Bell AH-1Z Viper represents the pinnacle of attack helicopter evolution, sharing 85% parts commonality with the UH-1Y Venom utility helicopter. Powered by two General Electric T700-GE-401C turboshaft engines producing 1,800 horsepower each, the Viper can reach speeds of 255 mph and operate at altitudes up to 20,000 feet.
